Big News and a Big Move

If it hasn't already reached you via the grapevine, we are expecting baby #3 due in February.

We are excited. Gideon seems to actually understand and he is momentarily excited when asked. I've been feeling pretty sick. No surprise. So, that has added to the stress of everything that has been going on.

We moved to Maple house at the beginning of August. We are settled and it already feels like home. We won't be opening or taking residents until we have more staff. Right now, Nathan and I are helping out other houses.

Gideon and Aurelia love being at Maple house.  We have a nice back yard and lots of fun things to do. We found a swing set cheap on Marketplace and a couple from church gave us their old play house.  They love playing out there, especially when Bodi comes to play.

who knows what they are up to

I've run a lot of doctor appointments and have been making meals for the houses as well. These past few days I've been taking shifts at the hospital sitting with a resident who had a baby. (hence the being able to catch up on the blog)

We've had a lot of fun over the past few weeks. My parents came out to help us move and stayed for a few days. Gideon and Aurelia miss Grandpa and Grandma.

Nathan's family was also able to come visit. Since we don't have any residents, we were able to let them stay out in the main house.

Then we took a quick day trip to the Indiana Dunes.  The kids loved the beach and even convinced us to climb a dune.

Continue to pray for us as we make the transition to Leads and continue to pray for more staff. We are thankful for this break of sorts, but we are looking forward to getting back in to the work.

In Christ

~Michelle
